Mr Nader Francis is a colorectal and general consultant surgeon at The Kingston Wing at Yeovil District Hospital.

Mr Francis is a highly qualified and experienced surgeon, committed to minimal invasive surgery and enhanced recovery. He is a passionate teacher and educator with an educational PhD in assessment of surgical skills, which underpins his national and international expertise as a trainer and educational lead in the field of laparoscopic colorectal surgery. He recently served as the National Educational Tutor for Coloproctology for the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland and as the Director of Medical Education at Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr Francis offers a wide range of procedures privately at The Kingston Wing, some of which include: 

- Open, laparoscopic and robotic repairs of inguinal, unbilical and incisional hernia. 

- Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (Gall bladder removal). 

- Haemorrhoidal banding and haemorrhoidectomy. 

- Robotically assisted high anterior resection, hemicolorectomy and Hartmann's/reversal of Hartmann's. 

- All endoscopy procedures such as colonoscopy, gastroscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy. 

- Examination of the rectum under general anaesthetic including treatment for anal fistulas.
