Mr Myles Black

Mr Myles Black is a Consultant ENT and Thyroid Surgeon based in Belfast, UK. Following his graduation from Queen's University Belfast in 1993, he went on to complete a surgical rotation which included a year of teaching in the Department of Anatomy at his old medical school. Subsequent to his admittance to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1999 he completed a Specialist Registrar posting in London, during which he gained extensive clinical experience rotating around some of the country's top hospitals, including Great Ormond Street, Guys', and St Thomas'.

Since being awarded a second Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh he has continued to train in all aspects of both paediatric and adult ENT surgery. From here, he travelled around to world attending institutes in New York and Paris to consolidate his expertise in Thyroid Surgery, a strong specialist interest of his. Going on to become a Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago Medical School, New Zealand, and an ENT Consultant in East Kent, he is now based back home in Belfast.
