I have been a Consultant General and Upper GI surgeon for 25 years in Grimsby but also provide care to surrounding areas, including Hull.

My main interests and experience lie in the fields of gallstone surgery, antireflux and hiatal surgery and therapeutic endoscopy including radiofrequency ablation of Barretts oesophagus. I set this service up some 11 years ago.

My practice focuses on laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for gallstones, antireflux surgery and complex hiatal surgery. Including but not limited to revision fundoplication and oesophageal problems surgery, such as achalasia.

I have significant experience in abdomenal and inguinal hernia repair and I am a specialist in and provides an ablation service for Barretts oesophagus, a precancerous condition of the oesophagus.
