I have been very impressed and hugely satisfied with the care and treatment that Mr Lamyman has given me. He put me at ease from the beginning and was genuinely interested and concerned about my condition. I had complete confidence in him, his expertise and his abilities, and this has been proven. The operation for Carpal Tunnel has been highly successful, removing all of the pain and sickness that I have been enduring for many, many months. I could not be more be more satisfied with the outcome and the treatment that I have received from him, and it has been my great pleasure to have met him. I will be eternally grateful to him.

Mike has a calm and approachable manner which put me at ease from the outset. He phoned me from his holiday when I was worried about swelling and put my mind at rest once again. The surgery has exceeded my expectations, I’m now pain free and can use my hand properly. Thank you.

The gold standard.

Mr Lamyman explained carefully to me that a cortisone injection might remedy the symptoms of my trigger finger, but that surgery would be required otherwise. I am pleased to be able to report that the injection did indeed remove my symptoms. I am grateful for this excellent result.

I can't speak highly enough of Mr Lamyman, he has impressed me with ability to describe somehow complex medical issues with clarity and precision. This was reflected also in his clinical letters, which I found very exhaustive. Overall, It has been a very positive experience.

Nine months ago, I presented with trigger finger in both my ring fingers. Quite unusual, I was led to believe. Initial treatment had mixed results and in the meantime, my hands were swelling up. Mr. Lamyman sent me to a Rheumatologist, who diagnosed Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was rapidly losing any feeling in many of my fingers. Mr. Lamyman urgently arranged a Carpal Tunnel Op. on one hand and after a suitable interval, he carried out the procedure on the other hand/wrist. All has healed well and because this was all caught early, all my fingers have now returned to normal. The tingling has all gone. I am very grateful to Mr. Lamyman.

I couldn't recommend Michael more highly. Excellent advice and explanation both pre, during and after surgery. Talked through options etc. and ultimately fixed up someone who is far too old to be playing rugby back to playing!!
