Mr Matthew Morris

Mr Matthew Morris is a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, with a private practice at Claremont specialising in minimally invasive foot surgery.

Mr Morris trained in Sheffield, qualifying in 1998. He undertook further training at the Northern General Hospital and did his Foot & Ankle Fellowship training in in Australia in 2008. He was appointed as Consultant in Chesterfield in 2009 and joined the One Health Group and Claremont.

Mr Morris offers a wide range of procedures including bunion corrections, ankle replacements, ligament and tendon repairs/reconstructions, ankle arthritis treatments, midfoot anrthritis treatments, rheumatoid arthritis treatment and other soft tissue and nerve treatments.

He also has a special interest in sporting injuries and trauma to the foot and ankle. Mr Morris runs a friendly and relaxed private clinic and will discuss all treatment options including physiotherapy, orthotics, podiatric and occupational therapies.

In 2014, Mr Morris was also appointed as Clinical Director of Orthopaedics at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
