About Mr Mark Thomas
Mr Mark Thomas graduated from Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School in 1991. Following that, he completed his specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery via his North West Thames rotation and undertook a fellowship in spinal surgery and trauma in Toronto, Canada.
Mr Thomas was appointed as a consultant at Frimley Park Hospital in 2002.
His specialist interest is in spinal surgery. He is very passionate and involved in developing and expanding spinal services in the area. Additionally, he is a fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association and Royal Society of Medicine and a member of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons and the Spine Society of Europe.
He is married to Alison, a local GP, and has two children now both at university.

Mr Thomas was on time and explained all that needed to be done very well, He examined me to see where the point of pain was coming from which helped decide what next! He wasn't pushy as to when to go ahead to do the op!!!
This was for a review of a MRI of my lower back and physical examination to assist diagnosis of my problems. Mark was thorough and clearly explained his findings and recommendations. He allowed plenty of time for discussion and queries.
