Consultant ENT Head & Neck surgeon, providing care for all aspects of paediatric and adult ENT conditions with subspecialist interest in thyroid surgery, and, head & neck surgery for cancer.

Graduate of Leeds Medical School and Yorkshire Deanery higher surgical training, before Fellowship training in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology and Thyroid surgery at Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Consultant at Sunderland Royal Hosptial from January 2010 and transferred to Leeds in Feb 2015.

I am a core team member of both the Head & Neck, and Thyroid, Multi-Disciplinary Teams for cancer management. I have set up and am the lead for Trans-Oral Robotic Surgery in Leeds and day-case hemithryoidectomy service. I run training courses for surgical trainees in ENT, have over 30 peer reviewed papers and have written 2 book chapters.
