Mr James Adshead

Mr James Adshead is a qualified Urologist.

Mr Adshead studied at Cambridge University and undertook a London training scheme. They completed a six-year training programme in Urology in the West London teaching hospitals. Mr Adshead also gained valuable experience in urological cancer and minimally invasive access during a laparoscopic fellowship year in Sydney, Australia.

He is a recognised expert in prostate cancer diagnosis

He pioneered in the UK Robotic prostatectomy With NeuroSAFE to spare the erection nerves safely with >1000 cases of prostatectomy experience

He is the regional Robotic partial nephrectomy surgeon with over 500 cases and very few complications in a complex surgical area

He also performs other robotic surgeries including nephrectomy and pyeloplasty 

He is also experienced in all General Urology having been a consultant for 20 years now

he has 20 years experience in microscopic Vasectomy reversal with impressive returning sperm rates
