Mr George Yardy

Mr Yardy undertook research into prostate cancer at the Weatherall
Institute of Molecular Medicine, Oxford, and trained in urology in
Cambridge and Norwich. He was appointed as a Consultant Urological
Surgeon in 2012. He has an established practice performing a wide
range of urological procedures. He has continued involvement in
clinical research. Suitable patients are offered enrolment onto
national and international trials of new treatments for prostate,
bladder and kidney cancer. He teaches medical students (Senior
Lecturer at the University of East Anglia), junior doctors and is
frequently invited to give lectures on aspects of urology.

His specialist interests are in testing for prostate cancer including
Stockholm3 and fusion transperineal prostate biopsy, surgery for
enlarged prostate including Aquablation, vasectomy and microsurgical
vasectomy reversal, treatment of tight foreskin and scrotal swelling
/ pain, urinary infection, bladder overactivity and bladder Botox
injections.
