Mr David Murray

Mr. David Murray is a Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon currently working at the private practice BMI The Alexandra Hospital. He is the Clinical Lead for Vascular Surgery at The Manchester Royal Infirmary. He specializes in Minimally invasive surgery for peripheral vascular disease, complex abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms, Carotid and stroke surgery, and treatment for varicose veins. He performs all surgeries including Varicose veins surgery, Carotid surgery for stroke prevention, and Endovenous Vein Surgery.

Mr. Murray qualified as a doctor in 1995 from St Andrew's University. He completed a Doctor of Medicine in 2009 at Manchester University and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2008. He also has many professional memberships including Vascular Society and British Society Endovascular Surgeons. He also has an Endovascular Fellowship from Newcastle Australia in 2010.

In addition, Mr. Murray is interested in research and has published in over 60 peer-reviewed scientific journals. He is actively involved in research and the NIHR Lead for vascular surgery in Manchester, where he is the Principal and Chief Investigator for many aortic research projects.
