Mr Arshad Khaleel

Mr Arshad Khaleel is a consultant lower limb and trauma surgeon in Surrey. He graduated in 1989 and completed his Basic Surgical Training and his Higher Surgical Training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in London. He also has an MSc in Trauma and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and Technology from the University of Dundee. He became a Consultant at Ashford and St Peters Hospital in 2002.

Mr Khaleel's expertise lies in disorders of the Lower Limb including Arthroscopic and Joint Replacement Surgery of the hip, knee and ankle joints. He is interested in Foot and Ankle Disorders and regularly performs revision surgery and complex procedures to treat foot conditions. He did a Fellowship in Trauma and Limb Reconstruction surgery and specialised at the Ilizarov Scientific Centre, Kurgan in Western Siberia which qualifies him to perform trauma and limb reconstruction surgery.

Mr Khaleel has an active teaching role as an Associate Tutor of the Kent Surrey and Sussex Deanery, a College Tutor of the Royal College of Surgeons, and an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians in Glasgow. He also organises and helps run national advanced courses in managing complex disorders of bone and joints.
