Bhargava has a broad general surgical training in both open and laparoscopic surgery and advanced skills in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for gallbladder disease, colorectal issues including cancer, groin hernia repair, abdominal wall hernia repair including incisional hernia repair. His specialist interest also covers diseases of the back passage (Proctology) including fistula problems and pilonidal sinus for which he has pioneered endoscopic or keyhole management.
He is also a fully trained endoscopist in both upper and lower GI endoscopy (Colonoscopy) and his training has reduced patient recovery time for major abdominal operations. He has done over 3000 inguinal hernias performed laparoscopically. 30+colorectal cancer cases per year for the last 15 years - 90% performed laparoscopically.

Aman has been looking after me for four years since I became ill with stage 3 rectal cancer.He has a superb bed side manner explaining fully what is wrong how he will medically intervene and the way ahead.He is always so calm and I have total confidence in him.I note also that his nursing support team not only like him but very importantly respect him. I am now well but he is keeping a close watch on me.Thanks Aman for all your help and support .

I found Mr Bhargava to be a very confident and charismatic Gentlemen. He explained everything I needed to know pre op and post op. When in his company I felt calm and relaxed throughout my procedure. I’m really pleased that I chose Mr Bhargava to carry out my inguinal hernia repair. He was very professional, explained everything carefully in a very pleasant, caring and thoughtful way. My operation was carried out by laparoscopic surgery and although I am 72 years old I felt no real discomfort and was back walking the next day. Four weeks after my operation I am back playing golf and planning to play tennis soon. I would definitely recommend Mr Bhargava. I can’t thank him enough.
