Mr Alan Wilson

Mr Alan Wilson is an award-winning Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Chichester and Worthing NHS Hospital and privately with Nuffield Health and BMI Healthcare. He has a special interest in facial pain and paediatric dental surgery and treatments. The talented surgeon offers in-depth assessments and consultations in a calm and relaxed environment and treats his clients as he would treat himself.

He began his career with a Bachelor Degree of Dental Surgery from Edinburgh Dental School in 1985 where he completed a Fellowship in 1989. He returned to University in Southampton and was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine in 1993. He completed his specialist training in 2001 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Throughout his career, he has won numerous awards and prizes for his outstanding academic achievements including the David Bulmer Anatomy Prize and Richard Newitt Fellowship Prize. He is heavily published in his field with over 30 peer-reviewed journals and remains involved in research
