About Mr Karim Kassam
Mr Kassam ( FRCS OMFS )has completed training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in London, UK.
The speciality of oral and maxillofacial surgery is unique in requiring a dual qualification in medicine and dentistry, followed by a comprehensive general and specialist surgical training. It is a recognised international speciality, which within Europe is defined under the medical directives.
Mr Kassam offers all routine oral & maxillofacial surgeries at and subspecialises in head and neck cancer, facial trauma, salivary gland surgery, facial skin cancer removal and reconstruction, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ), facial pain and cosmetic facial surgery.
He practices at the prestigious central London and east London locations for his London patients and also currently holds a substantive post in the UK in head & neck oncology and facial skin cancers. He is a core member of the head and neck and skin cancer MDT.
He is has done fellowship courses with the European College of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery and completed a Diploma in Head & Neck Reconstructive Microsurgery with the Autonomous University of Barcelona to complement his already extensive repetoir.

Dr Kassam was friendly and put me at easy straight away. He was quick to understand the problem and made me laugh during the consultation too! Highly recommend!
Mr Kassam is very kind and caring. He responded to me late at night when I reached out and took the time to explain my case, which I found really reassuring. He also did his best to arrange a video consultation as soon as possible to prioritise my emergency case.
Excellent first class showed the problem to the surgeon had no problem dealing with it did it on the spot? No no call back had no trouble since couldn’t ask for anything more thank you.
I’m at the end of week one after my TMJ surgery, and I honestly feel so much better than I expected! Recovery has gone really well, and I’m already eating a burger. I couldn’t be happier with my progress and would highly recommend the team for their care and expertise.

I had my earlobes restictched as my ear piercing had got too long. He was very gentle when doing the procedure Excellent work done and would highly highly recommend him.
Great service start to finish, managed to fit me in on short notice with no problem. Very comforting and reassuring mannerisms, made me feel extremely at ease. Regular, easy & direct contact with Mr Kassam, again, from start to finish. Would recommend!
