Mr Alan Fitt

Mr Alan Fitt is a leading Ophthalmic Surgeon at the prestigious Ramsay Fitzwilliam Hospital in Peterborough. The skilled surgeon offers first-class care to clients suffering from all ophthalmic issues but specialises in retinal and cataract surgeries and treatments. He previously worked as a consultant in various NHS Hospitals in Peterborough and Stamford but left to work in the private industry due to family commitments. He receives outstanding results from routine audits and puts patient safety at the core of his service.

He qualified from the Univerity of Newcastle upon Tyne with a Medical Degree in 1990 before completing a rotational scheme in his chosen field. He was awarded Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 1995 and completed an additional Fellowship in 2000 in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre. He is a professional member of Britain and Eire Association of Vitreo-Retinal Surgeons and the Uk and Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing squash and running.
