Dr Duran is the most patient and compassionate doctor you will find. My journey was very long and complex, but throughout Dr Duran was not only beside me, supporting me to keep going, but also way ahead of me considering innovative treatment strategies and adaptations to help me achieve my goal of becoming a mother. When making these suggestions, Dr Duran explained thoroughly the risks and benefits and helped me to feel in control of decisions about my treatment. Not only is Dr Duran the kindest person if you are about to receive difficult news, she celebrated every success and milestone along the way with me too. I would have left this positive review regardless of the eventual outcome of my IVF treatment, but am utterly delighted to be able to do so 11 weeks pregnant! It is thanks to Dr Duran's holistic and personal approach to care that I was able to overcome my initial personal difficulties and keep going with IVF - and ultimately fulfil my dream of becoming a mother. I could not be more grateful to her.

Dr Duran looked after us incredibly well for our 2 years of treatment. We were comforted throughout what could otherwise have been a very stressful process by the fact that she had a plan for us, was able to adjust it when things didn’t go to plan, and clearly had our best interests at heart (including sharing our delight at a positive pregnancy test, at long last!).

Dr Duran was allocated to us through NHS funding, so we had no choice or previous knowledge or experience of her or what to expect from her. We have thanked our lucky stars every day since. She is the kindest, most wonderful consultant I have ever been under for anything and she could not have done more for us. It was therefore a no-brainier for us to continue private, self funded treatment with her after our initial NHS funding ran out, and she could then offer us additional investigations. After a long and difficult conception journey we really had no answers or understanding of why we were unable to conceive. Dr Duran was incredibly compassionate and empathetic throughout our entire journey and is exceptional in her professionalism and knowledge of the subject, which she demonstrated consistently by explaining each diagnosis, treatment option, results and plan in a way we could understand to make informed choices. She has a clear passion for her work and I felt she had a very genuine care for us/her patients as individuals, so I never felt like a number or just another patient in her day job. She went above and beyond whenever she could to make this very difficult experience as smooth and manageable for us as possible, always listening to our thoughts and feelings, taking them into consideration then tailoring the treatment approach and providing trusted and valuable reassurance. We also found her secretary, Christine Hollinshed to be exceptional and a real asset to her employer. Where we sometimes experienced frustrating issues with the clinic, Christine was always very efficient to respond and to help us resolve them in a kind and friendly manner, helping to bring the stress levels back down again. After many years of hurt and heartbreak we are overjoyed to finally be expecting our first child and I will forever be grateful and indebted to Dr Duran for making our dreams come true. I would ONE THOUSAND PERCENT recommend her to anyone without hesitation and happily return to her as a patient myself in the future if needed.

Excellent experience. Very knowledgeable and reassuring - I felt like I was in extremely capable hands throughout. After an unsuccessful transfer she made treatment recommendations before the second transfer which resulted in this being a success. Would seek treatment from her again and wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family.

Dr. Duran is a highly-professional fertility doctor, who is patient, dedicated, considerate and always take things into account from patients' perspective. All in all, she is a trust worthy doctor whom you can rely on.

I find Dr Duran to be very approachable and very knowledgeable. She is very calming and clear. She always makes you feel involved in the decision making process. During such a stressful time she is an excellent consultant to have. Being a doctor myself, I have very high standards and she exceed these. I can not recommend her enough!
