This was my first hysteroscopy appointment and I was quite anxious not knowing what to expect. Annie the receptionist was helpful in preparing me for the urine sample. Mr Bhattacharjee and the team (Roisin and Hania) were then all very patient and reassuring. He took time to ask about the background reason for my request for the assessment then explained what my appointment was about, what to expect and prepare me tor what I will physically feel during the process. This allayed my fears and helped me feel confident about what he was doing. Roisin and Hania then helped me to prepare for the procedure and gave lots of reassurances. This is a great team and they made me feel that my procedure despite a simple one was important. I did not feel like I was the second last patient even though they all had a long day! Thank you and this is NHS at its best!

The Doctor was very personable and friendly. He carried out the procedure without a Speculum which made it a lot less painful and uncomfortable.. So it was not as bad as the previous ones.
