Mr Montey Garg

Mr. Montey Garg is a highly accomplished Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, specialising in head and neck oncology and reconstruction. 

Mr. Garg possesses dual qualifications in dentistry and medicine, highlighting his comprehensive approach to oral and maxillofacial care. He began his academic and surgical journey at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2012. His training path involved higher surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery within the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex deanery, where he gained invaluable experience at esteemed institutions like the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead and the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford.

Mr. Garg's dedication to excellence is evident through his accomplishments, including securing the top rank at the UK national Training Interface Group (TIG) Head and Neck Oncology fellowship interview. This achievement led to his completion of a fellowship in head and neck oncology at the Queen Victoria Hospital, further enhancing his expertise.

Mr. Garg is deeply passionate about teaching and education within the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He holds a certificate in postgraduate medical education and actively contributes to the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (BAOMS) as an online educational co-lead, playing a vital role in delivering educational programs.

Additionally, Mr. Garg serves as the educational lead for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, emphasising his commitment to training the next generation of surgeons.

His professional interests cover various aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including head and neck oncology, pre-malignant conditions, complex reconstructive surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma, and non-melanoma skin cancer.
