Mr Michael Bryant

Mr Michael Bryant is a highly accomplished Consultant Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Sonographer. He currently leads a primary care musculoskeletal service, which integrates specialised physiotherapy and orthopaedic triage. Throughout his career, Mr Bryant has focused on delivering precise diagnoses and effective management plans for patients experiencing joint pain, mobility issues, and complex musculoskeletal injuries.

Prior to his current appointment, Mr Bryant held a Consultant post leading a regional musculoskeletal service. He has extensive expertise in the clinical application of diagnostic ultrasound, utilising this advanced imaging modality to enhance the accuracy of his assessments. His clinical focus centres on providing comprehensive care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate pathways of care, whether through conservative management or surgical referral.

In terms of his academic and professional training, Mr Bryant completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at Cumbria University. To further refine his skills in diagnostic imaging, he undertook advanced ultrasound training in Oxford with St. Luke's Radiology, as well as in Harrogate. He also completed international training in Italy under the guidance of the world-renowned Professor Carlo Martinolli.
