Dr Matthew Nash

Dr Matthew Nash is an accomplished Paediatrician and Consultant Neonatologist dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality medical care to newborn infants and young children. Specialising in neonatal medicine, he focuses on managing complex health conditions in newborns, including those requiring advanced intensive support and specialised post-natal care. Dr Nash works closely with families to offer reassuring guidance and individualised treatment plans during the critical early stages of a child's life.

Dr Nash earned his medical degree from the University of Liverpool in 2005. He subsequently undertook comprehensive postgraduate paediatric and neonatal training within the North West and West Midlands, successfully completing National Neonatal Grid training. He holds membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, where he has also served as a College Tutor, and actively contributes to professional initiatives as a member of the British Association of Perinatal Medicine.

In his clinical practice, Dr Nash possesses expertise across neonatal intensive care, transitional newborn care, and neonatal mortality review processes aimed at improving patient safety standards. He is particularly passionate about medical education and clinical leadership in neonatal simulation, designing multidisciplinary training programmes that prepare healthcare teams for emergency neonatal resuscitation and advanced procedures.
