Dr Mark Sedler

Dr Mark Sedler is a dedicated Consultant Gynaecologist and Reproductive Medicine Specialist based in Leeds. He focuses on supporting individuals and couples through every stage of their fertility journey, offering comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and tailored clinical pathways. As an experienced IVF Consultant, Dr Sedler is committed to delivering empathetic, evidence-based care that prioritises patient comfort and individual clinical needs.

His clinical work encompasses a broad spectrum of reproductive health services and advanced assisted conception techniques. Dr Sedler holds particular expertise in Pre-implantation Genetic Testing (PGT) of embryos, In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), and Intrauterine Insemination (IUI). He also provides specialised care in egg freezing, In-Vitro Maturation (IVM), and time-lapse embryo monitoring. Emphasising the individualisation and optimisation of treatment, Dr Sedler works closely with patients to select options aligned with their unique reproductive goals.

Dr Sedler completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Liverpool, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB). He subsequently gained extensive clinical and academic experience as a Clinical Research Fellow in assisted reproduction before completing higher specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr Sedler is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and serves as a Clinical Advisor on international committees dedicated to pre-implantation genetic diagnosis.
