Dr Mark Robinson

Dr Mark Robinson is a dedicated Consultant Haematologist who provides expert diagnostic evaluation and clinical management for patients with a wide range of blood-related disorders. Working across both routine and complex haematological conditions, Dr Robinson focuses on delivering clear diagnoses alongside individualised care plans. His objective and reassuring approach ensures that patients feel well-supported throughout their clinical assessment and treatment journey.

Dr Robinson earned his medical degree with distinction from Peninsula Medical School in 2007. He attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2010 and achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists in Haematology in 2015. Further reflecting his professional standing, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2021 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 2025. Dr Robinson maintains active professional memberships with the British Society for Haematology, the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis, and the Medical Defence Union. Alongside his clinical duties, he serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter Medical School and acts as an Examiner for both the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom and the Royal College of Pathologists.

Within his clinical practice, Dr Robinson manages a broad spectrum of non-malignant haematology conditions. His sub-speciality interests include the investigation and treatment of anaemia, iron deficiency, haemostasis, thrombosis, and haemoglobinopathies. He also possesses specialist expertise in blood transfusion practices, myeloid disorders, myeloproliferative disorders, myelodysplastic syndromes, and rare blood disorders. Dr Robinson utilises up-to-date, evidence-based methods to ensure high standards of care for every patient.
