About Dr David Wrench

Dr David Wrench is a Consultant Haemato-oncologist working at London Bridge Hospital and Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

His specialist interest is in the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma.

He graduated in medicine from Cambridge University in 1999.

David went on to undertake his specialist haematology training in London, including St Bartholomew's, Hammersmith and Royal Free Hospitals.

He completed a PhD at Barts Cancer Institute and has published lead scientific papers in lymphoma, review papers and book chapters..

He has led a rapid access diagnostic service for patients who have lumps or masses or other symptoms suspicious for cancer.

David has also been haematology lead for clinical governance including patient safety and has led the support service for young adult patients with cancer.

His current research interests include the aggressive transformation of lymphoma as well as clinical trials of novel therapeutic approaches and his clinical interests include haematology, lymphoma, CLL, haematological malignancies and rapid access diagnostic and lumps clinics.
