Dr Maria Athanasiadou is a highly accomplished Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon who specialises in delivering natural, life-enhancing results. Dr Athanasiadou began her medical education at Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, and obtained her primary medical degree in Greece. Following the completion of her core surgical training, she relocated to the United Kingdom to pursue advanced training in Plastic Surgery, which included extensive training programmes at major university hospitals in Coventry and Birmingham. To further refine her skills, she completed prestigious international fellowships, including a fellowship in microsurgery at a leading university hospital in Belgium, a facial plastic surgery fellowship at a renowned medical centre in Rotterdam, and a specialised fellowship in skin oncology. She is triple qualified in Plastic Surgery, holding specialist qualifications from the Hellenic Ministry of Health, the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS), and the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Plast). Additionally, she is a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
