Mr Mahadeva Manohar

Mr Mahadeva Manohar is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practicing at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby since 2009, and also at St Hugh’s Hospital. He serves as the clinical lead for colposcopy and fertility control services within the department. Mr Manohar holds an MB BS from the University of Jaffna (1988) and completed his MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Colombo in 1995. He also earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education from Newcastle University in 2006 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG).

His clinical expertise includes a wide range of surgical procedures, such as abdominal, vaginal, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic surgery. He has completed the Advanced Training Skills Module (ATSM) in Maternal Medicine, reflecting his special interest in maternal health. Mr Manohar focuses on maternal medicine, colposcopy, fertility control, and minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques, offering comprehensive care to women’s reproductive health. Through his leadership roles and surgical skills, he is committed to providing patient-centred care and advancing clinical services within his specialty.
