Mr Luca Antico

Mr Luca Antico is an Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in laser vision correction procedures, including LASIK and LASEK laser eye surgery. He has experience in refractive surgery and is recognised for his expertise in corrective eye procedures.

He graduated from the School of Medicine at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and completed specialist ophthalmology training before undertaking further advanced training in refractive surgery and paediatric ophthalmology. He completed an Honorary Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery at the same institution.

Mr Antico also gained postgraduate surgical experience within the Cataract Surgery and Oculoplastic Surgery departments at Pando Ferrer Ophthalmological Institute, followed by a further fellowship at Instituto Oftalmológico de Alicante, a specialist centre for corrective eye surgery.

He is listed on the Ophthalmology Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and has treated thousands of patients through laser vision correction procedures during his career with Optical Express. He has also co-authored more than 20 ophthalmology articles.

Mr Antico performs laser eye surgery at Optical Express clinics in Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton, and Birmingham, specialising in refractive procedures designed to improve vision and reduce dependence on glasses or contact lenses.
