Dr Louise Hamilton

Dr Louise Hamilton is a dedicated Consultant Rheumatologist who specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of complex musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions. Committed to delivering holistic, patient-centred care, she works closely with individuals to develop personal treatment plans that alleviate pain, protect joint function, and improve overall quality of life. Dr Hamilton works alongside multidisciplinary specialist teams to ensure every patient receives comprehensive and reassuring clinical support.

Her clinical interests focus on axial spondyloarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and early inflammatory arthritis. Dr Hamilton also possesses expertise across a broad spectrum of general rheumatological conditions, including systemic vasculitis, giant cell arteritis, connective tissue diseases, and osteoporosis. Utilising advanced diagnostic techniques and modern biologic therapies, such as anti-TNF treatments, she provides targeted interventions aimed at controlling inflammation and optimising disease outcomes.

Dr Hamilton completed her medical degree (BM BCh) and subsequently earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) research degree.
