Dr Lorna Gillespie is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician and Clinical Director who specialises in the care of infants, children, and young people. Operating at a senior clinical level within child health services, Dr Gillespie provides expert medical care tailored to the distinct healthcare needs of young patients. Her practice encompasses general paediatrics, neonatal medicine, and paediatric emergency care, offering reassuring and patient-focused support to families managing a wide range of childhood health conditions.

Dr Gillespie maintains broad expertise across sub-specialty areas within paediatric healthcare. Her clinical focus includes neonatal intensive care, where she manages complex medical needs in newborn infants using advanced therapeutic strategies. She also possesses extensive experience in community child health, paediatric emergency care, and acute child protection.
