About Dr. Michael Liong Mee Hii
Dr Michael Hii is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist. He is currently the Clinical Hepatology Lead at Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, a tertiary paediatric gastroenterology centre that accepts referrals from hospitals across Sussex. Prior to his current role, he held a locum Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist post at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He also has an MSc in Paediatrics from Birmingham University, which he received in 2003.
Dr Hii graduated from the highly prestigious Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland in 1998 and went on to obtain membership to the MRCPCH in 2001. He received excellent training in general paediatrics and gastroenterology at some of London's most reputable hospitals. These include Great Ormond Street Hospital, Royal Free Hospital as well as Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Furthermore, he spent an additional two years working as Hepatology Clinical Fellow post CCT - an esteemed position which was based at King's College Hospital's Supraregional Liver Centre.
Dr Hii has extensive experience in both general paediatrics and gastroenterology, meaning he is able to accept referrals for patients needing help with either discipline. Recently, Dr Hii has set up the Paediatric Healthcare Centre at Wallington (South London). The centre has experienced paediatric specialists, nurses, dietician and child psychologist. It offers out-patient consultations and day procedures such as hydrogen breath tests (for lactose, sucrose, glucose, fructose or lactulose), blood tests, skin prick tests, food challenges and 24-hour pH studies.

Dr.Hii helped me and my child with her constipation. He was very good in explaining to my 10 year old daughter whats is happening with her in a way that she can understand and monitor her progress. My daughter is happier now since we started her treatment
