Dr Lawrence Miall

Dr Lawrence Miall is a dedicated Consultant Neonatologist and Paediatrician who provides expert, compassionate care to newborn infants and young children. Specialising in Neonatal Medicine and Paediatrics, Dr Miall focuses on delivering exceptional care to babies requiring specialised medical support during their earliest days of life. He is deeply committed to ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and the highest standards of clinical governance across all aspects of neonatal and child health.

Dr Miall completed his primary medical qualification in London, graduating in 1992, before undertaking postgraduate medical training across London and Yorkshire. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Medical Science, demonstrating a strong foundation in medical research and academic rigour. His formal professional memberships include being a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

With dedicated sub-specialties in Neonatal Cardiology and Perinatal Medicine, Dr Miall has extensive clinical interest in managing congenital heart disease, congenital abnormalities, and perinatal HIV screening. His clinical practice encompasses sophisticated interventions and procedures, including neonatal resuscitation, cerebral function brain monitoring, video-laryngoscopy, and cardiac scanning. In addition to his direct clinical work, Dr Miall serves as an instructor and Course Director for neonatal life support training and has authored several acclaimed textbooks in Paediatrics and neonatal care.
