Dr Kumari Subramaniam

Dr Kumari Subramaniam is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in General Paediatrics with a strong focus on paediatric neurodisability and neurorehabilitation, Dr Subramaniam works closely with families to ensure that every child receives attentive, holistic medical care tailored to their unique physical and developmental needs.

Her clinical expertise encompasses the assessment and management of a wide range of general paediatric conditions, as well as complex neurological and neurorehabilitation cases. Dr Subramaniam has particular expertise in supporting children who have sustained acquired brain injuries or traumatic brain injuries. Operating within multidisciplinary healthcare teams, she coordinates comprehensive rehabilitation pathways that integrate medical management, therapy interventions, and family support to optimise physical recovery, cognitive development, and overall quality of life.

Dr Subramaniam completed her medical education with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and earned her Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). She holds full registration with the General Medical Council with a licence to practise. In addition to her clinical commitments, Dr Subramaniam actively participates in professional education and training initiatives, helping to upskill clinical staff and uphold high standards of patient care and safety across paediatric services.
