Dr Kiran Khambekar

Dr Kiran Khambekar is a dedicated Consultant Neonatologist and Paediatrician who provides expert, compassionate care for newborn infants and young children. Specialising in neonatal medicine, he focuses on safeguarding the health and development of infants during their most vulnerable early stages of life. Dr Khambekar is committed to delivering reassuring, patient-centred care that supports families with clear communication and empathetic clinical guidance.

Dr Khambekar earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and completed his postgraduate qualification in Paediatrics at the University of Mumbai, India. He subsequently advanced his clinical expertise in neonatology across multiple tertiary care centres in the United Kingdom, obtaining his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Neonatology in 2005. He holds a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) qualification in Paediatrics and is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH).

Throughout his career, Dr Khambekar has broadened his clinical practice through international experience, including work in specialised neonatal transport in Sydney, Australia. As an established Consultant, he has developed specific clinical focus in neonatal echocardiography and the management of complex neonatal conditions. His extensive training enables him to deliver high standards of care, supporting babies and their parents with thorough assessments and tailored treatment plans.
