Dr Kenneth Walker

Dr Kenneth Walker is a distinguished Consultant General Surgeon who specialises in colorectal conditions, pelvic floor disorders, and gastrointestinal endoscopy. Dedicated to providing patient-centred care, he offers comprehensive clinical assessments and tailored management plans for individuals presenting with lower gastrointestinal and proctological concerns. Dr Walker prioritises patient safety and clear communication, ensuring that individuals feel fully supported and informed throughout their care pathway.

In his clinical practice as a General Surgeon, Dr Walker focuses on the investigation and treatment of benign and malignant colorectal conditions, proctological problems, and complex pelvic floor dysfunction. His surgical expertise spans diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, and minimally invasive laparoscopic interventions. In addition to his direct clinical work, Dr Walker is widely recognised for his contributions to medical education, simulation-based clinical training, and the development of non-technical skills for surgical teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Dr Walker completed his undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in Aberdeen and Glasgow, before undertaking advanced surgical fellowship training in Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) and a research Doctorate of Medicine (MD). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in General Surgery (FRCS Gen), a Fellow of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers (FFSTEd), and a Fellow of the Faculty of Remote, Rural and Humanitarian Healthcare (FFRRHHEd).
