Dr Katrina Pettit is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and young people. Known for her calm, reassuring, and approachable manner, Dr Pettit works closely with families to deliver thoughtful and individualised care. She is committed to creating a safe, comfortable environment where young patients and their parents feel listened to, respected, and thoroughly supported throughout their healthcare journey.

As a General Paediatrician, Dr Pettit possesses expertise across a broad spectrum of childhood health conditions. Her primary areas of clinical interest include the assessment and management of paediatric allergies, as well as the implementation of robust child safeguarding standards. In addition, she maintains an active interest in childhood nutritional and haematological health, including the diagnosis and management of paediatric iron deficiency, ensuring that young patients receive well-rounded, evidence-based care.

Dr Pettit completed extensive postgraduate training in General Paediatrics and remains deeply involved in medical education and professional standards. She serves as a College Tutor for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, playing an active role in mentoring junior doctors, directing clinical education programmes, and fostering high standards of patient care.
