Dr Katherine Golds is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for women throughout all stages of pregnancy and reproductive health. With a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety, Dr Golds works collaboratively with mothers and families to ensure personalised care plans tailored to individual needs. Her clinical practice encompasses both routine and complex obstetric and gynaecological cases, prioritising respectful communication and shared decision-making.

Dr Golds has developed specialised expertise in high-risk obstetrics, focusing particularly on complex antenatal care. Her clinical focus includes supporting patients with high-risk pregnancies, managing maternal conditions such as diabetes in pregnancy, and providing dedicated rainbow care for families navigating pregnancy following a previous loss. She is equally experienced in high-risk intrapartum care, ensuring safe and supportive delivery environments. Emphasising a holistic approach to maternity care, Dr Golds incorporates physical and emotional well-being into her practice, drawing on her experience as a qualified yoga instructor to support women throughout their maternity journey.

Dr Golds completed her medical degree (MBBS) at Newcastle University in 2010. She subsequently undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the Wessex Deanery. She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), reflecting her adherence to the highest standards of clinical excellence and professional practice.
