Dr Kate Dominiak

Dr Kate Dominiak is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician specialising in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine. She provides compassionate, family-centred care for infants, children, and young people experiencing a wide spectrum of lung and breathing conditions. Committed to optimising young patients' respiratory health and overall quality of life, Dr Dominiak works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualised and reassuring care.

Dr Dominiak completed her medical education at Keele Medical School, graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with Honours alongside a Master of Philosophy (MPhil). Following her undergraduate studies, she completed comprehensive higher specialist training in general paediatrics before undertaking sub-speciality training in paediatric respiratory medicine. Demonstrating a strong dedication to clinical instruction and medical training, she also earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education.

In her clinical practice, Dr Dominiak focuses on complex paediatric respiratory disorders. She manages dedicated specialist clinics for young patients with severe asthma and tuberculosis. Additionally, she collaborates closely with surgical specialists in joint clinics to care for children with complex conditions such as tracheo-oesophageal fistula. Her expertise includes carrying out detailed clinical evaluations, managing long-term respiratory conditions, and performing diagnostic procedures such as flexible bronchoscopy.
