Ms Kadambari Oswal

Ms Kadambari Oswal is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Vitreoretinal Surgeon. They perform complex/high-risk cataracts and vitreoretinal surgeries, including retinal detachment surgeries, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, diabetic delamination, traumatic cataracts, secondary IOLs, and other vitreoretinal procedures.

Ms Oswal completed medical school in 1999. They then completed a postgraduate master's degree in Ophthalmology from the prestigious institute of KMC, Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India. They worked as an assistant professor in Ophthalmology at the institute of KMC upon completion of their postgraduate degree.

After moving to the UK, Ms Oswal did their early Ophthalmology training in East Lancashire Hospital NHS Trust. They then pursued their research interest and worked as an academic fellow at the Academic Unit of Ophthalmology, Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre, Birmingham. They then completed the run-through training in Ophthalmology and was awarded the CCT in January 2018. Ms Oswal is a very experienced cataract surgeon and gets referred complex cataract surgeries in their current role. They also manage and perform surgeries for complications of cataract surgery that are referred to them. They have experience using premium intraocular lenses and secondary intraocular lenses.
