Dr John Reynard

Dr John Reynard is an accomplished Consultant Urological Surgeon who specialises in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of urological conditions. He delivers comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing kidney stone disease, bladder dysfunction, and lower urinary tract symptoms. Known for his reassuring clinical approach, Dr Reynard works closely with patients to ensure clear communication and tailored treatment plans for optimal health outcomes.

Dr Reynard completed his initial medical education in Oxford and London before undertaking research in Bristol and completing higher surgical training in London and New Zealand. He holds a Master of Arts (MA), a Doctor of Medicine (DM), and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Medical Law and Ethics. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Urology and serves as a member of the Court of Examiners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

His clinical expertise focuses predominantly on advanced stone management, neurourology, and general urology. Dr Reynard is experienced in performing specialised procedures such as percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and local anaesthetic transperineal prostate (LATP) biopsies. He also possesses dedicated expertise in managing complex neurogenic bladder dysfunction resulting from spinal cord conditions, alongside offering evidence-based care for prostate and urinary tract disorders.
