Dr John Dalton

Dr John Dalton is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate and comprehensive care for women across all stages of life. Specialising in both maternity care and gynaecological health, he delivers patient-centred treatment tailored to individual clinical needs. Dr Dalton is dedicated to ensuring patients receive evidence-based clinical management within a supportive, reassuring, and professional environment.

His clinical focus spans a wide spectrum of women's healthcare services, including antenatal and intrapartum care, general gynaecological consultations, and gynaecological oncology support. Dr Dalton maintains a key clinical interest in ambulatory gynaecological procedures, sexual and reproductive health, and global health initiatives. Alongside his clinical work, he plays an active role in medical education, serving as an Honorary Senior Lecturer and mentoring the next generation of doctors and medical students.

Dr Dalton completed his undergraduate medical training at Peterhouse, University of Cambridge, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Master of Arts (MA). Demonstrating a formal commitment to clinical instruction, he subsequently completed a Master of Education (MEd). His professional credentials and memberships include being a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), a Diplomate of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH), and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
