Dr Jessica Daniel

Dr Jessica Daniel is an experienced Paediatric Consultant dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in General Paediatrics with a focused clinical interest in neurological conditions, she delivers supportive, patient-centred care tailored to the individual needs of young patients and their families. Dr Daniel works collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high standards of diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management for a wide range of acute and chronic childhood illnesses.

In her clinical practice, Dr Daniel leads specialist paediatric epilepsy services and conducts dedicated paediatric neurology clinics. Her clinical work encompasses the investigation, diagnosis, and management of first seizures, childhood epilepsy, and broader neurological presentations in children. She works alongside specialist multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, including neurophysiological and neuroimaging studies, ensuring tailored treatment strategies that support both the child and their family throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Daniel completed her medical training at Newcastle University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2001. She is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH).
