Dr Jennifer McInally

Dr Jennifer McInally is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides compassionate, patient-centred care for infants, children, and young people. Focusing on Community Paediatrics, she works collaboratively with families and multi-disciplinary medical teams to support children facing complex developmental, physical, and medical challenges. Her practice is built upon a reassuring, holistic approach that prioritises the health, safety, and long-term well-being of every young person under her care.

Her key clinical specialties include complex neurodisability, child protection, and childhood visual impairment. Dr McInally has particular expertise in evaluating developmental concerns, such as developmental co-ordination disorder, and performing clinical assessments for infants presenting with muscle tone issues, such as floppy infant syndrome. She is also deeply committed to child health advocacy, working to highlight the impact of broader health and environmental factors on childhood development and long-term health outcomes.

Dr McInally completed her medical education and specialist paediatric training in the United Kingdom. She maintains active professional involvement with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, where she has served in supportive leadership roles for postgraduate medical trainees.
