Ms Jen Craven

Ms Jen Craven is a physiotherapist based at Freedom Care Clinics in Leeds. She has over 10 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation and paediatric physiotherapy.

Ms Craven began her career with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and has also trained as a personal trainer, sports massage therapist and Pilates instructor. Alongside her role at Freedom Care Clinics, she works as a Senior Physiotherapist at The Yorkshire Clinic and as Lead Physiotherapist for the Leeds Rhinos Super League Netball Team.

Her clinical interests include acute and recurrent back pain, sports-related injuries, tendinopathy, rehabilitation following injury and performance-focused return to sport. She has a particular interest in patellar tendinopathy, which was the focus of her MSc thesis on elite athletes.

Ms Craven uses a range of treatment approaches including rehabilitation exercise programmes, Pilates-based rehabilitation, acupuncture, sports taping and strength-based exercise prescription. She also has experience in paediatric physiotherapy and cardiac rehabilitation.
