Dr Jayne MacMahon

Dr Jayne MacMahon is a Consultant Paediatrician with extensive expertise in general paediatric medicine and paediatric rheumatology. She provides compassionate, family-centred care for children and young people facing a broad spectrum of medical conditions. Her clinical practice focuses on providing accurate diagnoses and comprehensive long-term care, ensuring that every child receives treatment tailored to their individual developmental and health needs.

In her sub-specialist practice, Dr MacMahon focuses on complex paediatric rheumatological disorders. Her areas of expertise include juvenile dermatomyositis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus, and autoinflammatory conditions, as well as acute paediatric inflammatory syndromes. Dr MacMahon is dedicated to implementing evidence-based treat-to-target approaches, aiming to control inflammation, safeguard tissue and joint function, and optimise long-term quality of life for her young patients.

Dr MacMahon earned her medical degree, holding a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and Bachelor of Obstetrics (MB BCh BAO). She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH), representing her adherence to rigorous standards of clinical excellence.
