Dr James Wareham is an accomplished Consultant Radiologist and Interventional Neuroradiologist who provides high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients presenting with complex neurological and spinal conditions. With a strong commitment to clinical excellence, Dr Wareham delivers patient-centred care that combines precision imaging with modern, minimally invasive treatment techniques. In his clinical practice, Dr Wareham specialises in interventional neuroradiology, diagnostic neuroimaging, and targeted pain management services. He possesses extensive expertise in percutaneous spine interventions and the management of vascular conditions affecting the brain and spine, including ischaemic stroke and subarachnoid haemorrhage. By utilising advanced image guidance, he performs procedures designed to address neurovascular disease and manage spinal pain, aiming to improve functional outcomes and quality of life while minimising recovery time.

Dr Wareham completed his primary medical qualification in Bristol in 2010. Following his basic medical training, he completed specialised higher training in general radiology, followed by an intensive advanced fellowship in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. He holds the European Diploma of Interventional Neuroradiology, having completed all four required modules. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr Wareham is dedicated to medical education, frequently lecturing and providing practical instruction on courses dedicated to brain and spine intervention.
