Dr. Jeevon Benning

Dr Jeevon Benning is a Consultant Radiologist with subspecialist expertise in abdominal imaging and non-vascular interventional procedures. His clinical practice encompasses acute, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, urological, and oncological imaging, with a focus on delivering precise diagnostic and minimally invasive interventional care.

Dr Benning graduated in 2004 and initially trained in gastroenterology before pursuing clinical radiology in 2011. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Diagnostic Radiology in 2016, specialising in abdominal imaging and intervention.

In 2017, he completed an advanced fellowship in abdominal and interventional radiology at the University of British Columbia in Canada, gaining extensive experience in image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Following this, he held consultant positions at University Hospital Southampton and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, contributing to both clinical service delivery and radiology training.

Dr Benning currently serves as the Lead Abdominal Radiologist at St Peter’s NHS Trust, where he oversees complex abdominal imaging in gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and urology disease. His work focuses on integrating advanced imaging techniques into multidisciplinary care pathways to enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes.
