Dr Amitabh Naik is a Consultant Gastroenterologist working at the Ashford & St. Peter's NHS Trust and has a private practices in Surrey, Berkshire and Buckinghamhsire. He has specialist interests in gastro-intestinal disease and hepatobiliary disease. He has over 20 years of experience in endoscopy.

Dr Naik graduated in Medicine from Mumbai University in 1994, before completing his MD in General Medicine in 1997. He qualified as a specialist Gastroenterologist from Mumbai University in 2001. He went on to become a member of the Royal College of Physicians with whom he also completed a fellowship. More recently he was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Genomic Medicine from Imperial College London.

He provides consultations for patients with liver disease, pancreatic disease, diseases of the stomach, oesophagus and the small and large intestine to diagnose conditions like inflammatory bowel diseases, cancer, gallstones, pancreatic disease. He can perform gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, ERCP and EUS.
