Underwent two gastroscopies by Dr De Silva. No discomfort either time. Professional and friendly manner. Would certainly consult him again if necessary.
Dr De Silva took the time to understand my condition and concerns. Reviewed previous blood history in detail. Dr De Silva provided a detailed summary of the treatment.
At the first consultation Dr Sampath de Silva was very focused on identifying and treating the conditions I was experiencing. He listened well and made notes of what I said so he would have a proper record of all issues discussed. As I was paying for the services he was able to provide a cost for the OGD/Colonoscopy which I accepted at this first meeting. This was exactly what I wanted. This procedure which included removal of polyps was performed very satisfactorily at the Runnymede and I was discharged at the expected time. My thanks to all involved at the hospital. At the follow-up meeting the Doctor provided a very detailed photographic review of what the operation had revealed and answered all my questions which revealed his very extensive knowledge of diagnosing and treating gastroenterology problems. I am very satisfied with the whole process.

I’m ever so thankful to Dr de Silva for referring me to other specialist to look at me and to finally be diagnosed and treated for vasculitis. Credit to the nurses who were friendly and helpful. I recommend Dr de Silva and his team highly.
