About Dr. Peter Enwere
Dr Peter Enwere is a highly skilled Consultant Geriatrician with over 25 years of experience in General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. For the past 9 years, he has been working within Ashford and St. Peter's Hospital NHS Foundation trust as a consultant geriatrician. He also sees private patients at The Runnymede Hospital.
Dr Enwere was the Clinical Director for the Senior Adult Medical Services (SAMS) Department over a 3 year period, and currently the Interim Divisional Director for General and Specialist Medicine Division. Furthermore, he is the clinical lead for Dementia and Delirium. He has an excellent track record in managing complex medical conditions in older adults and is renowned for his exceptional care of patients suffering from dementia and delirium.
Dr Enwere completed his medical degree at the University of Pécs Medical School, Hungary, in 2001. Prior to relocating to the UK in late 2004, he worked at the University Teaching Hospital, Faculty of Medicine in Pécs, Hungary. In 2021, Dr Enwere completed his Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Geriatric and Medical Gerontology from the European Academy for Medicine of Ageing.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Enwere is an educational and clinical supervisor with a background in teaching, coaching, and mentoring skills. He was awarded first prize for the consultant ACE (Acknowledging Consistent Excellence) in 2020 for his immense contribution to teaching junior doctors in training and medical students from St George's and Imperial medical universities.
Dr Enwere has also made significant contributions to the field of geriatric medicine through his publications in well-known journals. He has co-authored and personally published articles in respected geriatric journals, which have been recognised for their significant impact on the field.
In 2012, Dr Enwere was awarded the Patient First award for his dedication and passion towards direct patient care. Furthermore, through his collaborative work with colleagues on service improvement and patient experience, his team has won multiple awards, including the Excellence in Patient-Centred Care Team Award from the Royal College of Physicians and the PENNA Team Award for Measuring, Reporting, and Acting.

A very comprehensive visit covering all aspects of the disease and how it will progress and way / tools that can be used to pre empt strew build up .
