Dr Stephen Evans

Dr Stephen Evans is an experienced and knowledgeable gastroenterology consultant with significant experience in managing inflammatory bowel disorders such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Additionally, he has expertise in all areas of general gastroenterology and hepatology.

He is highly skilled in endoscopic procedures. Patients can be confident that Dr. Evans will provide them with a professional service that includes clear communication of findings to other clinicians involved in their care.

Dr Evans gained his medical degree from the University of London in 1989 and spent time as a junior doctor in England and New Zealand before returning to the UK to train in Gastroenterology. He later undertook research at Guy's and St. Thomas's hospitals investigating environmental factors in inflammatory bowel disease.

He is a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology, the European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation,  and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.

Outside of work, Dr Evans enjoys spending time with his family, sailing, and travelling.
