Mr Trivedi graduated from Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospitals Medical School in 2000 with an intercalated bachelor's degree in neuroscience. He undertook his basic surgical training at Kent Canterbury Hospital followed by higher surgical training in general and colorectal surgery on the South-West Thames Surgical Rotation. During his training, Mr Trivedi undertook a two year period of research at University College London investigating bowel dysfunction and pelvic floor problems in patients with spinal injury.
He went on to complete a fellowship in colorectal surgery at St Thomas' Hospital where he gained further experience in complex cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and pelvic floor problems.
Mr Trivedi has a number of publications and has presented his work nationally and internationally. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Excellent care received from Mr Trivedi and staff at Gatwick Park Hospital. Mr Trivedi talked me through the procedure before and during the procedure. He also came to see me before my discharge to explain the results/findings.

Mr Trivedi’s bedside manner, confidence and understanding, put me at ease. The outcome was more than perfect and has changed my life, the after care pack his team gives you to take home explains everything thoroughly. Any questions afterwards were answered very quickly and would never hesitate seeing him again if I needed to.

Mr Trivedi was extremely kind and caring and understanding given I am 86 years old. The surgery was very well explained, the risks clearly articulated and I felt in very safe hands. The surgery went well and I felt well supported post operatively. I cannot recommend Mr Trivedi more highly both in terms of his technical skill and his kind and caring manner.
